Celtrino, Ireland’s leading e-Invoicing, EDI, Peppol and Digital Transformation solution provider has announced that it has achieved ISO 27001 – Information Security accreditation.

ISO 27001 is the international standard specifying a set of best practices and controls which is recognised globally for managing risks to the security of information organisations hold.

What is ISO 27001?

The ISO 27001 standard and ISMS provides a framework for information security management best practice that helps organisations to:

Protect client, prospect, partner and employee information.

Manage risks to information security effectively.

Achieve compliance with regulations such as GDPR.

What Does This Mean for Celtrino clients?

ISO 27001 provides a set of standardised requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard adopts a process based approach for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, maintaining, and improving your ISMS. Certification to ISO 27001 allows businesses to prove to clients and stakeholders that they are managing the security of their customers and partners information.

So this significant accreditation for Celtrino gives our customers an assurance that we are operating in a professional manner that highly values security.

According to Ken Halpin, CEO of Celtrino, “I am delighted to say that in association with our ISO partner Jordan Business Systems, Celtrino has been awarded ISO 27001 accreditation. I would like to thank the team here for all their efforts and to assure existing clients, potential customers and channel partners that Celtrino has always held data security as an utmost priority. Now we have to accreditation to prove it.”
