A Single Access Point Connection
Through a single connection, we enable public sector buyers and suppliers in New Zealand to exchange documents (e.g. invoices and orders) with each other electronically, regardless of what back office systems they use. Peppol enables trading partners to exchange electronic document over the Peppol network based on what is known as a 4-corner model as shown below. Both the sender and recipient can choose any service operator they find most suitable for their own needs to act as Access Points. The NZBN (New Zealand Business Number) is the unique global identifier that routes the e-Invoice to the intended recipient.
The 4-corner model is a system where the supplier utilises different service providers to process electronic documents that pass between the supplier and the buyer. This 4-corner model provides a secure method for the structured exchange of electronic documents.
Users in New Zealand Government departments can simply transfer documents electronically via our Celtrino PEPPOL Access Point solution.
