Doing Business with the HSE
Is your organization currently supplying the HSE (Health Service Executive) or would like to become a supplier to the HSE in the near future?
The HSE has recently updated their policy on how they would like to send and receive electronic business messages (such as Orders, Invoices, Catalogues, ASNs, etc.) with suppliers. The HSE is mandating that suppliers must be EDI and Peppol compliant, having recently issued the following on a recent tender request:
- Your organisation must be able to submit and receive purchase orders via EDI or CXML.

Your organisation must have punch-out/Excel/CIF format catalogue capabilities.
This catalogue needs to include the following:
- Product Description
- Picture of product
- Product references
- Catalogue price
- Options available
- Your organisation must be able to receive purchase orders via Peppol
- Your organisation must be able to submit invoices via Peppol
- Your organisation must be able to provide advanced shipping notice (ASN) via EDI or CXML
