At the most basic level, a PO Flip is the conversion of an electronic Purchase Order (PO) into an invoice, with the click of a mouse.
When a customer sends a PO to a supplier electronically (e.g. EDI), this needs to be presented in the supplier’s back-office system in a readable format. However, it is frequently the case that a supplier’s back-office system may not be suited to adapt to the various supply chain demands of key customers.
Celtrino’s OrderFlip service integrates with any back-office system and enables suppliers to view and capture any customer PO and to convert it into an invoice - as well as an order acknowledgement, order fulfilment commitment, despatch advice or credit note.
OrderFlip allows a supplier to view a PO on the Celtrino Platform so that they can see what the customer has ordered, and to print a PO to hand to warehouse staff to pick.
As well as being able to send an invoice to the customer that will match first time every time, suppliers can save the invoice so that they can retrieve it later, and print the invoice to retain a copy for their records.
OrderFlip is suitable for all business sectors and is particularly ideal for low Volume Suppliers.
OrderFlip is quick and easy to use and allows suppliers to comply in a timely manner with a customer request to participate in its digital supply chain initiative.
Suppliers can create invoices in seconds rather than re-typing data that is already on the PO, saving time and cost in the Accounts receivable process. Finance staff can focus more time and resources on other areas of their roles, as opposed to manually creating invoices.
Celtrino’s network offers a secure connection and guarantees delivery of the invoice to the customer within seconds.
